2022-23 Fantasy Basketball Dynasty Rankings

The NBA season is still two months away, but it’s never too early to start preparing for the drafts, especially when it comes to Dynasty Leagues. With the added element of keeping your roster for more than one season, as is typical in most fantasy leagues, there is a lot more strategy involved in the draft process. One person’s ranking can look completely different from another, with some people looking to win immediately, while others are trying to play for the long haul and build for the future. Trying to take all that into consideration, let’s dive into the fantasy basketball pre-season with my first ranking of the top 125 Dynasties.

Dynasty Rankings Ratings and Highlights

Giannis Antetokounmpo takes the top spot in my ranking, as an enduring and consistent force who is at the peak of his career. However, if you’re a fan of Doncic or Jokic at number one, I wouldn’t blame you. It really should be one of these three guys.

Age matters. Yes, LeBron, KD and other elite veterans will likely always be the best options for the next season or two. But unless you’re really selling to win now, drafting some of the younger options will almost always be the best decision.

This draft class seems like a really good class, but it’s still hard to classify a guy who hasn’t played a minute in the league before. The only thing I know is that Paolo Banchero is the real deal. On the other hand, I’m not a fan of Chet Holmgren, and there’s nothing you can do to change my mind. To quote Charles Barkley, “I may be wrong, but I doubt it!”

I chose not to rank Miles Bridges due to its ongoing legal issues. However, I would probably have him in my early thirties if his situation were to suddenly clear up.
