Big Ten Basketball 2023 Recruiting Class Ranking Update for July
Everyone is gearing up for the start of the college football season, but we also can’t forget the hoops in a place like Ohio State, where both sports have a significant history.
While football turns on the TVs and pays the bills in a place like Columbus, OSU arguably has a better basketball history than any other Big Ten team (at least until 2024, when UCLA arrives on board).
That being said, it’s clear that recruiting classes for basketball aren’t as big and explosive as what we see in football, but it’s still the lifeblood of the program. Without great players and their development, you simply have no chance of competing to narrow the nets. Head coach Chris Holtmann is trying to build on what he has done so far with his best class so far for 2022, one well ranked in the top ten nationally.
So where does Ohio State stand among its Big Ten brethren so far with the Class of 2023? Well, we are here to give you an update according to the 247Composite sports rankings.
