Home Bank announces 2 hires

LAFAYETTE – Home Bank welcomes Lisa Joshua Lee as Vice President / Head of Retail Group, serving Baton Rouge, Northshore and Mississippi areas. Joshua-Lee brings 32 years of retail banking expertise to his new role. Previously, she was Assistant Vice President / Head of a Multi-Financial Center at Hancock Whitney.

A graduate of Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, Joshua-Lee is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc. and serves as the organization’s president of economic development. She is also involved with the New Gideon Baptist Church as a co-chair of Nehemiah’s ministry and a member of the finance committee. She is a member of the Baton Rouge Community College Business Advisory Board and a member of the Board of Directors of the Crime Commission and Monticello Improvement District.

Home Bank also welcomes Derek McDonald as Vice President / Head of Product Process. McDonald’s brings 20 years of banking experience and 10 years of product management experience to its new role. Previously, he was Vice President / Senior Product Manager at Capital One.

A graduate of the University of New Orleans with a bachelor’s degree in general studies and a concentration in business administration, McDonald also holds a FINRA Series 6 license. He is a veteran who served in the military. United States Air Force as a sergeant with four years of active service at Rhein-Main Air Force Base in Germany and Naval Air Station Key West, Florida. In addition, he has served on the board of directors of the Slidell Youth Football Association and the Slidell Youth Basketball Association and has been a head coach in these organizations.
