Tickets for an NCAA Championship rematch between Baylor Men’s Basketball and Gonzaga at Sanford Pentagon go on sale Thursday.
The Ticketmaster sale begins at 10 a.m. on Thursday, October 6 for the game on Friday, December 2, which clocks in at 7 p.m. The game lasted two years for the Sanford Pentagon, which was in contention for neutral site play in 2020, Sanford Sports Vice President Jesse Smith told Leader Argus in May. Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis won the bid, but a positive COVID-19 test canceled the game a few hours before the denunciation.
Tickets can be purchased from the Ticketmaster website.
The Sioux Falls site was able to “pivot” and on December 19, 2020, the old no. 1 Bulldogs played and defeated the then No. 1. 3 Iowa Hawkeyes 99-88. Sanford’s Pentagon was unable to host fans for the game, but has hosted more major college games in the past, most recently hosting Iowa for a game against Utah State last year.
“To see this again is just an amazing feeling,” Smith said in May. “I’m super excited for the fans in this region to be able to experience this and see these teams on Heritage Court.”
