Steve Prohm Basketball Camps Announces Summer Schedule

The 2022 Steve Prohm Basketball Camps announced the summer program with three different weeks of fun for boys and girls of all ages. Prohm Summer Camps are an annual activity where young players experience the great game of basketball.

“We look forward to another great summer of campus basketball camp at Murray State,” Coach Prohm said. “Our goal is to teach young players the fundamentals of the game while providing a fun environment. We will have an experienced staff of instructors, including many former and current Murray State players. Through daily drills, competitions and games, campers can look forward to an exciting and rewarding week with the Racers.”

Steve Prohm Camps are held at the CFSB Center at Murray State University.

The first camp is a camp for young people aged 7 to 17 (from June 6 to 9) at a cost of $195 per camper. The camp starts each day at 9 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m.

The next session (June 13 to 16) is for 5 to 7 year olds and costs $95 per camper. The day starts at 9 a.m. and ends at noon. The last week of camp (July 25-28) is for children ages 7 through those entering seventh grade and the cost per camper is $195.

Parents are allowed to start dropping off their children at the CFSB Center from 8 a.m. For full day camps, supervision will be provided until 5 p.m. The last day of full day camps ends at noon. Adult supervision is guaranteed at all times.

Lunch will be provided, however, campers are permitted to bring their own lunch if they wish. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt, ball and certificate of completion. A camp tradition is the Ice Cream Shot. When the shooting is done by a staff member, all campers are entitled to ice.
